Location:
Greenwich is a district of south London. With a long time history in maritime (home of the National Maritime Museum) and final resting place for the Cutty Sark and Tudor Moth, Greenwich is also the site of the international time line (Greenwich Meridien) for which we all set our clocks by (GMT). It also has the excellent O2 venue, formerly called the Millenium Dome, which was the location for the biggest failed Diamond Robbery in UK history.

Entertainment tip for Greenwich:
The North Pole Bar and Restaurant. Eat, Drink and dance under one roof and if there are enough of you – there is a VIP room which you can have free of charge! Their website offers some great deals, where if your lucky you can get two courses for less than £15 or even a cheeky 50% off your bill!

Food tip for Greenwich:
Our favourite is the Rivington, owned and operated by the successful La Caprice Group (which includes The Ivy) the food is surprisingly affordable and of excellent quality. The only shame is that it does not have the same views as from the restaurant of the same name in Dubai – overlooking the Burj Khalifa – but it’s a good compromise and a bit cheaper to get home from!

Fulham is an area of southwest London (SW6) located 3.7 miles south west of Charing Cross. It lies on the left bank of the Thames, between Putney and Chelsea. a green London area high local house prices. Craven Cottage, home to Fulham football club backs directly on to the River Thames and still has the listed cottage to one corner from which it gets it’s name. Fulham Road is home to high end shops cafes, bistros and restaurants, the finest homes can be found in the Hurligham Area or Peterborough Estate and are among the most costliest properties in London. Add in the excellent Pre Prep and Prep schools it is no wonder why it is so sought after.

Ealing is in west London 7.9 miles west of Charring Cross. Ealing is best known for it’s film studios but ironically does not have a cinema! It’s most famous productions of recent times include Notting Hill, Star Wars – Episode 2, St Trinians, Sean Of The Dead and Bridget Jones 2.

Entertainment tip for Ealing:
The Priory in Ealing describes itself as the night spot of choice in West London for the discerning clubbers. It’s a small club with the normal student mid week nights etc.

Food tip for Ealing:
Sushi Horo! A hidden gem in Ealing – possibly the best Japanese in London and it won’t break the bank. It is however quite small and reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment.

The charm of the area means you are not going to find a ‘banging’ nightclub in Dulwich, however it has pubs galore! The East Dulwich Tavern is your best bet with Comedy nights and Jazz Evenings to entertain you.

The Palmerston in East Dulwich is a Gatro Pub that offers 2 and 3 course specials in a friendly and inviting environment. The Gastro Pub also showcases local artists work, a perfect place to enjoy a good bottle of Red..or two.

Docklands is the semi-official name for an area in east London. For,merly one of the worlds largest Docks, the area now is a major financial hub with iconic buildings, the most recognisable being Canary Wharf – 52 floors high and incorporating a shopping centre and a major junction for the driverless Docklands Light Railway. With excellent links to the City of London, the area has become a collection of some of the most prestigious, contemporary developments of apartments found in London with some of the finest views of the River Thames available. The area has further been advantaged with the addition of the O2 arena (formerly the Millenium Dome) and now houses major concerts, shows and award ceremonies.

Entertainment tip for Docklands:
Has to be the O2 arena. Major concerts, restaurants and some of the best, most luxurious ‘boxes’ in the world. 20 – 40 seated areas with private bars – watch top concerts in a living room environment, these truly are for the fortunate.

Food tip for Docklands:
The Cinnamon Bar in Canary Wharf’s Hilton Hotel is surprisingly more affordable than you would expect. The drinks list including signature vodkas, compliment any meal and a must for the brokers working in the area. It surely won’t break the corporate card.
